Who We Are
Ecogas Energy Resources Limited commenced business in 2009 as a manpower service provider to the upstream Nigerian oil and gas industry by delivering technical experts to offshore maintenance and installations operations at competitive rates as well as taking away the stress of industrial relations and employee administration from her clients. Between 2009 and 2022, we consistently supported the OML100/ FSO maintenance contract between Total Energies and Ponticelli Nigeria with zero safety incidents and nil industrial action. We have also since January 2022 provided technical manpower services to Ariosh Ltd, an indigenous leader in integrated engineering and EPCI services to the Nigerian oil and gas upstream industry.
In 2015, Ecogas ventured into LPG business with the vision to encourage the use of clean and safe cooking gas by domestic and industrial users, and with an operating philosophy of integrity, compliance with regulatory authorities, demonstrable transparency and accurate filling. With a seed 25MT capacity plant built at Port Harcourt River State in 2015 and throughput of less than 500MT in the first year, the company has between 2015 and date developed to 11 LPG Refilling Plants in 2 states with a total of 500MT storage capacity in stationary and mobile assets.
We take pride and continue to work hard on our LPG delivery logistics by ensuring that refilling plants and those of our customers are wet 365/6 days of year. We believe that availability is the first priority in meeting the expectations of our customers. Our customers can testify that we have had no single day of scarcity in all our plants for 6 years despite the difficult operating environment.
With current annual throughput of over 10,000MT, over 140 (direct and indirect) employees across Nigeria and strong footprints in manpower services, LPG logistics and refilling; we are poised to upscale our participation in the entire value chains of Nigerian LPG industry, contribute to the economic growths in our operational states and meet the expectations of our stakeholders.
