Chief Executive Officer
Chief Shina Luwoye FCA.
Chief Shina Luwoye FCA. is a broad-minded personality with background in the Accountancy profession and considerable experience in oil gas; financial planning & management, audit, corporate governance & assurance, project management, stakeholders’ management and industrial relations.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Associate Member of The Chartered Institute of Mediators & Conciliators and holds MBA in Management of the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos.
Shina served the multinational oil giant, The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria between 1993 and 2015; for 22 years in various managerial positions before he took meritorious retirement in 2015 to pursue his entrepreneurial interests.
He has attended various national and overseas courses in Nigeria, UK, Holland, South Africa, US, France and Italy mostly on corporate governance and assurance, HSE management, Total Quality management, Global Oil Economics & Corporate Strategy Planning, Petroleum Projects Evaluation & Decision Making, Fraud Risk Management, Business Principle & Ethics and Advanced Negotiation to mention few. He had also hold various leadership positions in the Oil and Gas industry notably:
- National President - Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) 1999 - 2003.
- President of Trade Union Congress of Nigeria between 2001 and 2013. Member, Petroleum Products Regulatory Commission 2001 –2003
- Member, Presidential Committee on Review of Petroleum Products Supply and Distribution in Nigeria 2000 – 2001
- Member & Workers Representative to International Labour Organisation (ILO) Tripartite Committee on Industrial Relations, Geneva (Mar. – Apr 2002)
Shina received the presidential commendation for his service to the Petroleum Products Regulatory Committee between 2001 and 2003 from Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo in 2013.
He is an ardent golfer and was twice the Captain of Shell Golf Club, Port Harcourt and belong in Port Harcourt Club 1928, Air Assault Golf Club Port Harcourt, Abeokuta Golf Club, Abeokuta Sports Club and the prestigious Abeokuta Club. He is married to Olabisi Ruth and they are blessed with 5 children.
Non Executive Director
Lateef Olatunji Surakatu - B.Sc., FCA, CIPFA (Affil.)
Lateef Olatunji Surakatu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting (Second Class Upper) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA, UK). He is currently the Partner & Head of Business Advisory Practice at Andersen in Nigeria.
Lateef has an extensive and wide range of experience, spanning over fifteen (15) years, leading/managing various projects in institutional transformation, sector and organizational reforms, finance strategy formulation, finance function transformation & redesign, blueprint development & implementation. He has done these in varied industries ranging from non-profit, telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing, oil & gas and public sectors; especially providing reform advisory services to State Institutions.
He has led many large finance function transformation and implementation projects in key sectors of our economy. He was also the project manager for financial reporting transformation project for a national oil company and its twenty-three (23) subsidiaries, where he assisted the company to clear the backlog of its six (6) years audit. A major feat which has put the company on the right stead for sound and reliable financial reporting process. Lateef is a versatile and dedicated professional who has gained experience across several
competency areas.
Prior to joining Andersen, he was an Associate Director in the Advisory Practice of KPMG Professional Services. He was a member of KPMG Infrastructure, Government and Health (IGH) line of business. He was also the KPMG Nigeria representative on the KPMG Global Working Group for International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) and KPMG Global Knowledge Management for Accounting Advisory. A seasoned professional that has
demonstrated expertise on various projects delivering cutting-edge results in both private and public sectors.
He has worked as a Tax Consultant, led various audit engagements on major local and multinational companies, FMCG, Oil and Gas, and Manufacturing sectors in BDO Nigeria for one (1) year and had spent another two (2) years at Madumelu & Co, a medium-sized professional services firm.
Finance & Admin Manager
Olalelekan Wahab Ogunbunmi
Wahab is an accomplished Finance professional with a wealth of experience in financial management and strategic planning. As a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Wahab brings a strong educational background and professional experience of over 20 years in Oil & Gas, and FCMG to his role as the Finance & Admin Manager of Ecogas Energy Resources Limited.
As the overseer of financial operations at Ecogas Energy Resources Limited, Wahab continues to drive the finance team towards excellence. He is dedicated to implementing robust financial controls, optimising processes, and establishing efficient reporting systems. Wahab's ability to analyse complex financial data and derive actionable insights positions him as a valuable asset in improving the company's financial performance and driving profitability.
Beyond his professional achievements, Wahab maintains a fulfilling personal life. He cherishes his role as a loving husband and proud father to his children.
Operations Manager
Mr. Daniel Enow
Operations Manager manages overall operations, he is responsible for effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control, safety measures, corporate-level strategic planning of the company’s operations, and human resources.
He ensures safe and efficient operations. Serves as a company representative on installations regulatory issues within the Oil & Gas Industry, and Field Engineer with several organizations in the industry. His community and professional involvement include the International Society of Automation (ISA), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Project Management Professionals (PMP), and Member of the African Energy Chamber. He has a Bachelor of Engineering from the University Institute of Technology (IUT-Douala, Cameroon).
